Whole World Pledge

A thought

“At first people refuse to believe that a strange new thing can be done, then they begin to hope it can be done, then they see it can be done– then it is done and all the world wonders why it was not done centuries ago.”
-Frances Hodgson Burnett (The Secret Garden)

What is the Pledge?

The Pledge gives us a tool to make a powerful difference, every day, by guiding the choices we consciously make and we are responsible for. It is a safe and legal form of activism. In today's world simply acting from a foundation of doing no harm is an act of civil disobedience. It’s a way to powerfully vote our values everyday; at any age!

The Pledge begins with the words, “I shall always do my best…” Our ability to live inside of our ‘personal stand’, changes as the conditions around us change. For example, if we live in a city we may not be able to produce our own foods regardless of the type of diet we choose.

What's the Difference?

The Pledge website provides the groundwork for a virtual Community Unity Team (CUT) in the CUT Forum. A CUT is an affinity group of sorts where we can gather (online or in our communities) to discuss issues and possibilities, share ideas and accomplishments, and work on outreach projects together. We can change our world, one community at a time, all at once.

Global Community Unity

The Pledge Project is a global community unity movement. Our purpose is to inspire you to action, give you the tools, and the support to enable you to succeed in changing the world. We are all part of our one global community and it is crucial that we act that way. When our community unites and we support the other members in our community, we will arise as a new, combined power which will thrive without the need for force. Changes at the community level are both realistic and significant. We can make the essential global changes one community at a time, all at once.

Please be involved in The Pledge Project immediately at the global level by taking the Pledge and being part of our virtual Community Unity Team (CUT) through the CUT Forum. At the local level you can offer your passion, expertise, or services in the creation of a CUT in your town using our “tool set”. Share this possibility with others and pass it on!

Is the Pledge for You?
